GENERAL:

 

Q: Can I mix & match sizes of wine for the case discount?

A: Unfortunately you cannot mix different sizes of wines (ex. 750ml, 1.5L, 3L, etc.) for the wine case discount. It will only apply for all of one size.

 

DELIVERY:

 

Q: Do you deliver to SUNY Oneonta or Hartwick campus?

A: We do not delivery to either college campus. 

 

Q: Why is delivery not available where I live? 

A: Liquor Depot and our third-party delivery services can only deliver within a certain radius. Delivery in Cooperstown is available 2 days a week. See prompts at checkout. 

 

Q: How much does delivery cost?

A: The cost of delivery will be determined at the time of check-out and is based on miles.

 

SHIPPING:

 

Q: Where do you ship?

A: Alaska, District of Colombia (D.C.), Florida, & New York

Some states prohibit the shipment of specific wines to their residents. The Wine Institute maintains up-to-date information on every state's wine shipping laws and regulations

 

Q: How much does it cost to get items shipped?

A: . The shipping rate will be based on the weight of the items ordered and the service selected for shipment (Ground, 2-Day, etc.). The rate for your items will be shown in your shopping cart and will update as items in the cart are removed or added.  

 

Q: What happens if no one is at home to sign for the package when UPS arrives?

A: UPS will leave a notice at your door saying that they attempted to deliver. These notices generally have a phone number to call and/or the address of their local depot. In most cases, you can arrange to pick the package up there. If they do not hear from you, they will attempt to delivery it again.  After 3 unsuccessful attempts, the wine will be returned to us. In that case, we're sorry but we'll need to charge you to ship it again. 

 

Q: What should I do if I receive a broken bottle?

A: Please, carefully examine the box when you receive the order. Our shipping companies do not allow returns if our customers open the box in their presence, but please do check if you can see any signs of damp patches on the outside of the box. If so, Please do not accept the delivery. Our partners will notify us and we will automatically send you a new delivery at no extra cost.
